Senior General Business Sales Executive at SAP IT… · Oslo

Job Description

What you'll bring

You are a senior sales professional with a background in complex, partner-led deals in the mid-market segment. You know how to coach partner sales teams, build productive pipelines, and engage directly on high-value opportunities to close revenue. You bring strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and the creative thinking and learning agility to adapt as the role evolves.

• Experience managing complex software sales engagements through and with partners — from pipeline development to deal closure
• Ability to align with Partner Business Managers (PBMs) on territory business planning and identify growth opportunities across the assigned segment
• Strong commercial skills — you develop business cases, return on investment (ROI) models, and competitive positioning to support partners and win deals
• Deep knowledge of a specific industry or SAP solution area, enabling you to coach partners and engage directly in complex, high-value opportunities
• A practical approach to AI — you use AI-assisted tools to improve pipeline planning, competitive analysis, and daily sales execution
• Fluency in Norwegian and English is required for this role

What you'll build

You will lead partner-driven sales engagements across the Norwegian General Business territory, coaching partner teams and engaging directly on selected opportunities to maximise revenue and pipeline conversion.

• Align with Partner Business Managers on territory coverage plans and identify growth opportunities across the assigned mid-market segment
• Coach partner sales representatives on complex software deals, using business cases, references, and competitive intelligence to strengthen their positioning
• Drive business development within your solution or industry specialisation — directly and through partner sales teams
• Enable partners to independently run business by supporting demand generation, competency development, presales coaching, and full use of SAP tools and methodologies
• Monitor pipeline health and conversion rates, ensuring partners use SAP presales resources effectively and reporting sales progress against agreed targets
• Stay ahead of the competitive landscape in your assigned geography and industry, translating market intelligence into winning strategies

Where you belong

You will join the Nordics Mid-Market team, based at the SAP office in Oslo. The team works closely with partners across the region to grow SAP's footprint through indirect, partner-led go-to-market strategies. You will collaborate day-to-day with Partner Business Managers and Inside Sales colleagues across the Nordics — sitting at the intersection of partner development and direct deal engagement. This is a high-impact role with real ownership of a defined territory and clear commercial targets.
