Speech and Language Therapist at Saltroad in United Kingdom

You trained to do speech therapy. So why is so little of your week made up of actual therapy?

The reports. The admin. The everything else that needs done.

The waitlists you can't shrink and the families just outside your area. Whatever's between you and the therapy, you didn't get into this job for any of it.

Saltroad is a different way of working.

We're a community of 1,000+ Speech & Language Therapists all across the UK - from the NHS and independent practice.

Parents come to us looking for help. We match them with the right therapist based on what the family needs, their preferences and what how you work - budget, location, availability, specialism, online or in-person - and you decide whether to take the work.

You set your own rates. You set your own hours. You take on as many clients as suit your life this month, or none at all.

We handle the marketing, the matching, the scheduling, the payments. You handle the therapy.

And we provide all the support you will need.

Free CPD that's actually useful. A library of therapy resources and assessments to pull from. Access to mentors and a growing network of experienced therapists to lean on when you hit a tricky case.

Many of our therapists do this alongside an NHS role - topping up their income, building a private caseload, or finally supporting the families their service can't reach.

Independent therapists find more of the customers they want to work with, and less admin to handle.

Join us in building the operating system to deliver speech & language therapy as it should be.
