CIVIL ENGINEER/PROJECT COORDINATOR-PE… at S. C. Hondros… · Charlotte

SC Hondros & Associates, Inc. is a design-build general contractor located in Charlotte, NC offering in-house design services with an immediate need for a Civil Engineer registered in North Carolina and South Carolina.

Duties include all aspects of site design for commercial, industrial and institutional projects from concept through detailed construction drawings to completion. Individual will join a team of professionals working together to meet with clients, determine their needs, produce preliminary drawings, assist with construction proposals, produce construction drawings, work with regulatory authorities to obtain permits, support construction activities and assist with project close-out.

This position also requires the ability to coordinate design priorities and managing outside designers and engineers and work with marketing, estimating and construction departments in all phases of projects.

Qualifications: P.E. required. 5+ years of experience preferred. Familiarity with erosion control, utility extensions, driveway connections and storm water control requirements in Charlotte and surrounding area desired.
