Role Summary
The primary purpose of this role is to support the Sustainable Investing team in delivering sustainable investing initiatives, contributing to new business development and client retention.
The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:
Client retention (EMEA) / reporting
Supporting the creation of client-facing materials, including presentations, reports and thought leadership.
New business development (EMEA)
Contributing to RFP responses and client queries related to sustainable investing.
Market research
Conducting market and competitor research, keeping up to date with industry developments, emerging standards and best practices.
Global brand
Working in collaboration with the marketing team and supporting the creation of messaging, client collateral, annual content agenda, events, research and campaigns.
Contributing to the development of internal training materials on sustainable investing topics.
Global industry collaboration
Assisting in industry collaboration activities and engagement with key organisations (e.g. PRI, IIGCC).
Regulatory & business conduct
Displaying exemplary conduct and living by our organisations Code of Conduct.
Taking personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct across the business.
Effectively and collaboratively identifying, escalating, mitigating and resolving risk, conduct and compliance.
The successful candidate will have extensive demonstrable skills and experiences including the following:
Candidates who are studying or intending to study for CFA (or other finance related professional qualifications) will be preferred.
Relevant BSC/BA or equivalent experience required.
Experience in financial services, asset management or a related field, with a demonstrated interest in sustainable investing.
Demonstrated interest in sustainable investing, through academic focus, professional experience, or personal engagement (e.g. research, certifications, industry involvement).
Experience working with ESG data or sustainability-related analysis.
Familiarity with the RFP process and client servicing.
Basic understanding of ESG trends and regulatory developments, particularly in EMEA.
