Physician Leadership and Clinical Opportunities Across Wyoming

Rural Staffing Services partners with rural hospitals, clinics, public hospital districts, community health centers, and healthcare organizations throughout Wyoming to identify physicians who understand the importance of serving rural communities.

We are currently connecting with physicians interested in active and upcoming medical leadership, permanent, part-time, per diem, short-term, and clinical coverage opportunities across Wyoming.

These opportunities may include positions within Critical Access Hospitals, Rural Health Clinics, Federally Qualified Health Centers, public hospital districts, community hospitals, outpatient clinics, long-term care organizations, and integrated rural healthcare systems.

This Is More Than a Physician Role

In rural healthcare, physicians often have an impact far beyond a single department or patient encounter.

They may care for generations of families, help shape clinical services, mentor other professionals, support hospital leadership, and become trusted members of the community.

Some opportunities may combine clinical practice with medical leadership. Others may provide flexible per diem or short-term coverage that helps a rural facility maintain services while recruiting for a permanent physician.

The strongest rural physicians are collaborative, adaptable, clinically grounded, and committed to building trust with patients, employees, leaders, and the communities they serve.

Why Rural Wyoming?

Wyoming's rural communities are shaped by mountains, high plains, ranchlands, rivers, open roads, and wide-open spaces. These communities need physicians who understand that healthcare access close to home can affect the future of an entire region.

Practicing in a rural setting offers the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships, see the direct impact of your work, and help shape care in ways that may not be possible within a larger system.

Even short-term or per diem coverage can make a meaningful difference by protecting services, supporting local teams, and giving an organization time to find the right permanent solution.
