Kitchen Equipment Technician – Roberto's Restaurant, DIFC

Roberto's is looking for a hands-on technician who keeps a busy commercial kitchen running.

What you will do

• Fix breakdowns and do planned maintenance on combi ovens, ranges, fryers, grills, salamanders, dishwashers, glasswashers, fridges, freezers, ice machines, mixers, slicers and extraction hoods
• Find the fault, fix it safely and test it before it goes back into service
• Keep maintenance and repair records, and manage spare parts
• Coordinate specialist contractors and follow up on their work

What you need

• At least 3 years repairing COMMERCIAL kitchen equipment (this is the main requirement)
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding; confident with a multimeter
• Restaurant, hotel or catering experience preferred
• Technical diploma or ITI certificate preferred
• Basic refrigeration, AC/HVAC or MEP knowledge is a plus, not a must
• Good spoken and written English
• 6 days a week, available for evening, weekend and emergency call-outs
