Main Objective:
The Test Specialist is responsible for technically leading and executing key activities within their domain of expertise (e.g., corrosion, vibration, noise, climate, eAxle), ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of tests performed on new products and equipment. This role requires recognition as a regional expert by technical leadership, as well as advanced skills in laboratory management, technical documentation, and decision-making.
What challenges will you have?
Implementation of new testing technologies, as well as new products to be tested in the laboratory, acting in a Test Project Manager role.
Technical leader of the area for a specific domain of expertise (e.g., eAxle testing, noise, corrosion, etc.).
Communication with technical leaders in other Bosch plants and with L4 and L5 experts in the testing fields.
Implementation of new administrative methods for the laboratory (e.g., ISO 17025).
Planning and procurement of consumables, tooling, and equipment required to perform tests.

Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
Mechanical or Electronic Engineer (or similar), with a minimum of 4 years of experience in testing areas or in a similar role.
Bilingual proficiency (English–Spanish) at a B2 level or higher.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with different stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Technical Knowledge
Experience in conducting functional, durability, environmental, and similar tests. Operation of testing equipment. Interpretation of standards, specifications, and technical results. Preparation of test reports.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software systems, as well as data acquisition and tools for configuring and building test devices.
Knowledge of the operation of electric motors (brushed and brushless). Understanding of automotive communication protocols (e.g., LIN, CAN).
Use of analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Famos, Power BI, Six Sigma Green Belt, etc.) and computational tools (AI).
Clear presentation of results to internal customers. Collaboration with technical and operational counterparts.
Development of test plans and tracking of timelines. Compliance with targets and quality standards. Identification of non-conformities. Leadership in applying problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Jidoka).
