You'll gain hands-on experience across breakfast and lunch operations, receive support from experienced chefs, and have genuine opportunities to grow and progress within Richmond Hill Hotel. As a Commis Chef you will play an important role in delivering high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences across our breakfast and lunch services. Key responsibilities include: Assisting with the preparation and service of breakfast and lunch dishes to the highest standards. Ensuring all food is prepared, presented and served in line with company standards and recipes. Supporting the kitchen team with daily mise en place and food preparation. Maintaining excellent food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness standards at all times. Monitoring stock levels and helping to minimise waste. Working closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service Learning from our experienced Chef de Parties and senior chefs to develop your culinary skills and knowledge. Contributing ideas and demonstrating a positive, flexible attitude to support the success of the kitchen. What we’re looking for… A hunger for hospitality and going the extra mile. Someone that is willing to bring their best, authentic self to work. Rather than reading from a script or putting on a persona, our approach is all about bringing the very best version of ourselves to work every day. A creative approach to your role – we believe that a game changing idea can come from anyone, anytime. Someone who thrives in a dynamic and vibrant environment and is committed to delivering exceptional hospitality.
