Deliver FedEx packages with Relay P&D using your own vehicle this peak season. We’re hiring up to three dependable, motivated AVP delivery drivers in the Vandalia / Dayton, Ohio area, with a target of filling positions by November 10, 2026. This is a seasonal W-2 employee position with Relay P&D.

Pay

Earn approximately $119–$121 per day, plus company-paid gas, based on 75 completed stops and 30–40 work miles. Compensation is $1.50 per completed delivery stop plus $0.20 per work mile, with gas for delivery work paid by the company in addition to mileage pay. Plan on approximately 75 stops per day; actual volume and earnings vary with completed stops, work miles, vehicle capacity, and route conditions. Additional stops increase your earnings when available.

Schedule

Work is available up to seven days per week, depending on package volume and scheduling needs. Be ready for early starts and to complete your assigned route. Availability during peak season, weekends, and holidays is valuable. Your schedule and seasonal end date will be discussed during hiring.

What you’ll do

• Load and organize packages in your own approved vehicle.
• Deliver packages safely to homes and businesses using a scanner or phone app and GPS.
• Return for additional loads as needed; a day may involve two or three vehicle loads, depending on vehicle capacity and volume.
• Follow delivery instructions, record accurate scans, and communicate delays or delivery issues.
• Provide courteous service and work safely in changing weather.

What you’ll need

• Be at least 21 with a valid driver’s license and at least one year of licensed driving experience.
• Have a reliable personal vehicle that meets FedEx AVP requirements and passes approval, with current registration and insurance. Vehicles must be no older than 15 years; SUVs, minivans, and station wagons are encouraged.
• Complete required background, driving-record, and drug screening.
• Be able to walk, climb stairs, enter and exit your vehicle repeatedly, and lift packages up to 50 pounds.
• Be dependable, organized, comfortable with delivery technology, and able to work independently.

No CDL or DOT physical is required for this approved AVP own-vehicle position.
