What you’ll do:
Learn to establish strategic relationships across financial-sector institutions, map organizational decision-making structures, and maintain high market visibility ahead of formal procurement cycles. You will proactively qualify prospective opportunities, initiating targeted outreach (via email, phone, and social channels) to secure discovery meetings for our Account Executives. You will initially manage a small portfolio of clients to learn the ropes of account management.
- Proactive Outbound Mindset: High energy and a proactive outbound engagement mindset, identifying and executing creative communication channels to connect with institutional prospects.
- Methodical Pipeline Development: A structured approach to learning territory mapping, diligent CRM documentation, and systematic execution against targeted account plans.
- Eagerness to Learn: Strong interest in learning how to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles within financial sector or heavily regulated environments.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to initiate meaningful conversations with business professionals.
Why we should decide on you:
- Academic or Early Professional Background: Degree in Business, Finance, International Relations, Economics, or a related field; or equivalent early career experience in a client-facing, customer support, or lead generation role.
- Interest in Financial Tech: Strong interest or foundational knowledge in financial services, financial market data, risk management, regulatory reporting, or enterprise SaaS solutions.
- Languages: fluent English, and Dutch and French strong enough to work day-to-day with a European team and hand over to sales executives.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) concepts and an interest in their practical applications within enterprise and financial workflows.
Nice-to-have:
- No Regulatory Background Needed Day One: In-depth regulatory expertise is not required; intellectual curiosity and a strong motivation to develop deep domain expertise are essential (full onboarding and training provided).
- Sales Drive: A desire to build a career in technology sales, with the long-term goal of carrying an individual sales quota as an Account Executive.
- Foundational Tech Awareness: A basic understanding of or interest in enterprise software architectures and technical implementation processes.
- Regional Landscape Awareness: Any prior academic or personal contact with the region's financial landscape
- International Standards: Awareness that Basel and international reporting standards get implemented differently country by country, and a keen interest in learning how this impacts our clients.
- Multilateral Projects: Interest in learning how multilateral-funded projects drive financial-sector technology purchases in the region.
Why you should decide on us:
- Market Leadership: Join a global leader where our agile culture and innovative spirit allow you to shape the future of financial stability.
- International Scope: Take ownership of high-profile international projects and benefit from our global internal mobility initiatives.
- Growth & Mentorship: Access a wide range of our technical and functional training opportunities.
- Culture of Inclusion: We foster a supportive, transparent atmosphere with frequent team events and a commitment to diversity.
To get a first impression, we only need your CV and look forward to meeting you in a (personal/virtual) interview!
