Database Architect Location: Jersey City, New Jersey - United States Job Description Summary Determines database structural requirements to support the organization's business needs. Job Description Responsibilities Design, implement, and evolve robust and effectively aligned architecture solutions that operate in the business ecosystem. Ensure installation and testing of complex and interrelated databases and associated products to ensure they are suitable for use and meet customer requirements. Approve complex database specifications, ensuring that all agreed standards and protocols are followed and data integrity is preserved. Suggest improvements for standards and protocols for database specifications. Drive advances in technologies and architectures to increase the value delivered by technology and digital capabilities, either through improvements to the efficiency of the technology environment or through those that reduce the total cost of technology operations. Recommend and participate in activities related to the design, development, and maintenance of the digital capabilities within the enterprise architecture. Skills Develop and execute architectures, policies and practices in order to manage the information lifecycle needs of an organization. Design, implement, administer, maintain, and manage databases. Design architectures, incorporating system/service requirements. Express user needs in terms of business requirements, identify current capability of the business to deliver, conduct build or buy analyses, and recommend preferred approach. Education Bachelor’s: Business Administration, Bachelor’s: Computer and Information Science (Required), Bachelor’s: Computer Engineering Work Experience General Experience – 10 to 15 years Certifications Salary Range $100,000.00-$168,500.00 Travel Less than 25% Workstyle Hybrid The total compensation for this position includes base salary or wages, and may include components such as additional compensation (cash or equity), discretionary bonuses, or commissions.
