Summary: Rapid Response Monitoring is a national leader in the monitoring of alarms and security systems. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail oriented Financial Support Specialist to join our accounting team, providing day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Financial Accounting team.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Staff Accountant with daily accounting tasks, including data entry and transaction processing
- Prepare and organize supporting documentation for journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
- Support month-end and year-end close activities by gathering data and verifying accuracy
- Assist with general ledger maintenance and account reconciliation preparation
- Track and maintain financial schedules, spreadsheets, and supporting workpapers
- Assist in generating internal financial reports and summaries as requested
- Ensure documentation supports audit and compliance requirements
- Coordinate with other departments to obtain required financial information
- Support process improvements and documentation of accounting procedures
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and sensitive information at all times

Required Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Accounting required
- Outstanding organization and planning abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Successfully clear drug screen and background check to meet industry and security licensing requirements
