• Provide day-to-day leadership, training and support to staff, including coordinating orientation, competency assessments and mandatory training.
• Monitor staff performance, KPIs, workloads and productivity, and manage staffing hours and labour costs against departmental targets.
• Respond to requests for health information from authorised internal and external stakeholders and liaise with clinical and administrative departments to support efficient service delivery.
• Coordinate health record audits and support hospital accreditation requirements, including compliance with relevant quality standards.
• Maintain appropriate access permissions within the Patient Administration System and report any suspected unauthorised access.
• Review clerical procedures, identify opportunities for improvement and help resolve operational issues to support efficient workflows and high-quality service delivery.

What You Will Also Bring

• Previous supervisory or team coordination experience, with the ability to guide staff, manage competing priorities and support a positive team culture.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with a range of stakeholders.
• Confidence using computer systems, databases and Microsoft Office applications.
• A commitment to maintaining professional standards and complying with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
• A qualification in Health Administration, Health Information Management or a related discipline would be desirable.
• Experience in a large private healthcare environment would be desirable.
