What You’ll Do
Electrical Installation & Repairs
- Install, service, and upgrade electrical systems in commercial settings
- Troubleshoot wiring, equipment, and electrical components to resolve issues efficiently
- Plan layouts and installations to support long-term system performance
- Bend and install conduit using manual and powered equipment
**Blueprints & Technical Work**
- Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Utilize industry tools such as threaders, knockout sets, cable pullers, and drills
- Complete work orders and documentation with accuracy
**Job Site Execution & Safety**
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and properly handle equipment
- Follow project timelines and meet productivity expectations
- Travel locally between job sites as required
- Work at heights using ladders and access equipment when needed
- Follow all safety procedures including lockout/tagout, confined space, and hazard communication protocols
**Additional Responsibilities**
- Assist with troubleshooting related systems such as HVAC or refrigeration when needed
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development
- Contribute to team goals while maintaining professionalism on-site
Required Background
Journeyman-level experience with increasing responsibility in the field
Background in commercial electrical installation, service, and troubleshooting
At least 4 years of commercial electrical experience preferred
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safe work practices
Ability to perform conduit bending and installations independently
Experience using standard electrical tools and job site equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Preferred Experience
Exposure to HVAC, refrigeration, or related mechanical systems
Experience working across multiple job sites or projects
Background in commercial construction or service environments
Training & Compliance
Completion of required safety certifications
Participation in ongoing technical and operational training
