Job Description & Summary:
The Team (FST)
Financial Services & Treasuryis part of the wider PwC Advisory services in India andcomprisessubject matter experts with deep industry experience and from varied backgrounds including banking, insurance, risk management, treasury, rating analyst, information technology,andactuarialconsulting.
The actuarial services capability of FST works onproduct development, pricing of insurance products,statutory / shareholdervaluation,accounting asperIGAAP/IFRS 17, risk management and asset liability management. In addition, the capability helps and supports clients in performing required regulatory reviews, due diligence for potential buyers/sellers, managing their insurance liability requirements,transitioningto new regulatory and marketrequirementsand offering new products totheircustomers.
The Role
The role is for anon-lifeactuarial professionalwith 4-7 years of experience, and prior experience with IFRS 17.
You will be providinghigh-qualityconsulting and technical services to our clients both in India and overseas.Focusing on non-life insurance, you will work on actuarial consulting projects across multiple streams such as IFRS 17 implementation & assurance, audit reviews, M&A due diligence, staff augmentation etc.

Responsibilities:
I.Qualification
Required:2 to 4+ years of actuarialexperience
Required: Prior experience with IFRS 17 / Ind AS 117
Required: At least 3 years of non-life or life insurance experience
Prior experience with non-life insurance preferred.
Preferably at least 4 actuarial papers passed from IAI /IFoAas per the new curriculum
II. EXPERTISE
ExpertiseinIFRS 17 and preferably other aspects of actuarial work
Thorough understanding ofnon-life insurance productsandIndian statutory requirementspreferred
Excellent knowledge of Excel
Working knowledge of Python and / or VBA preferred
