About Prolific

Prolific is not just another player in the AI space – we are building the biggest pool of quality human data in the world.

Over 35,000 AI developers, researchers, and organizations use Prolific to gather data from paid study participants with a wide variety of experiences, knowledge, and skills.

The Opportunity

We’re inviting US-based physicians with experience in medical leadership or medical director work to join Prolific’s Expert Network for paid research and AI-related tasks. If you are a registered physician with a current US medical license and are willing to provide your National Provider Identifier (NPI) for verification, we’d like to hear from you.

Eligible applicants will be invited into a dedicated Prolific workspace. After your credentials have been verified, you may be invited to complete a training or qualification assessment. Physicians who meet the project’s requirements and pass the assessment may then be invited to participate in project tasks.

This is a paid research participation opportunity, not an offer of clinical employment or a salaried physician position. Participation is remote and task-based, with no guaranteed hours, task volume, or ongoing work.

Pay and Availability

The current indicative rate for invited paid screening is US$130 per hour, with project task rates starting at US$216 per hour. These are task-based rates, not guaranteed earnings. Screening invitations, assessment arrangements, project access, and task availability are subject to eligibility and project requirements.

You’ll be able to review each available task’s details, estimated time, and confirmed pay before deciding whether to take part. Applying does not guarantee an assessment invitation, acceptance, or paid work.

What You’ll Bring

• Current residence in the United States.
• Registered status as a physician with a current US medical license and experience in medical leadership or medical director work.
• Willingness to provide your NPI and complete medical-credential verification during onboarding. An NPI is an identifier; physician and license eligibility must also be verified.
• Willingness to complete the required training or qualification assessment after verification.
• Access to a computer, a reliable internet connection, and the ability to follow detailed online instructions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Completing expert registration and medical-credential verification through Prolific’s onboarding process.
• Completing an assessment, if invited, to establish your suitability for the project.
• If qualified and selected, applying your experience in medical leadership or medical director work to paid research and AI-related tasks as they become available.
• Following the instructions and confidentiality requirements provided for each task.

How to Apply

Apply through this job post. Eligible applicants will receive instructions for expert registration, verification, and next steps. Please do not include patient information in your application or task submissions.

If you already have a Prolific account, do not create a duplicate account. Follow the recruitment team’s instructions for your existing account and the relevant expert onboarding process.
