Visit RN – Weekend Program | Home Health & Hospice

Three weekends on. One weekend off. No on-call. Plus $7/hour weekend program differential on every hour you work!

Build a nursing schedule that gives you more of your weekdays back.

Our Home Health & Hospice Weekend Program combines 12-hour shifts, premium weekend pay and meaningful one-on-one nursing care with the independence of working in the field. You’ll care for patients throughout Waukesha County and portions of surrounding counties while having the support of an experienced interdisciplinary team behind you.

This is a great fit for an RN who values autonomy, strong patient relationships and a schedule that looks different from the traditional five-day workweek.

More time with your patients. More ownership of your day.

Home Health nursing gives you something that can be hard to find in a traditional inpatient setting: the opportunity to focus on one patient at a time.

You’ll get to know your patients and families, see how they’re actually managing at home and use your nursing judgment to make a meaningful difference in their care. You’ll work independently in the field, but you won’t be on your own, you’ll collaborate with nurses, providers and the broader Home Health & Hospice team throughout the day.

What you’ll do

Provide skilled nursing care to Home Health and Hospice patients in their homes, including assessments, medication management and education, wound care, IV therapy and other skilled nursing needs. You’ll identify and communicate changes in condition, educate patients and caregivers, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team and document care in the electronic medical record.

What you’ll need

• Current Wisconsin RN license or eligibility to practice in Wisconsin, BLS, a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel throughout the assigned service area.
• Home Health or Hospice experience is valuable, but strong nursing experience, independent clinical judgment, organization and the ability to manage changing priorities are equally important.

Begin Your Story

If you’re looking for a nursing role with premium compensation, a predictable weekend rotation, no on-call and the independence to build genuine relationships with your patients, this Weekend Program offers a pretty unique combination.
