Summary: Professional is one of the Pacific Northwest’s largest financial services companies, focusing on assisting healthcare and government organizations with their receivables. They are seeking a self-motivated Legal Recovery Specialist who thrives in a target-driven environment and will be responsible for communicating with consumers, negotiating payment arrangements, and supporting them towards financial stability.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced, industry-leading technology to communicate effectively with consumers
- Receive training to handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and courtesy
- Operate modern Accounts Receivable Management and Legal Management System (LMS) software
- Collaborate closely with internal Legal Department teams, including Litigation, Small Claims, and Attorneys
- Negotiate payment arrangements, address customer concerns, and support consumers on their path to financial stability
- Demonstrate strong computer proficiency, including the ability to manage multiple screens and type at least 45 words per minute
- Develop foundational skip tracing and settlement negotiation skills for legal accounts
- Build a strong understanding of the lawsuit process and legal procedures
- Apply sound judgment, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications:
