Job Description
Summary: PrizePicks is the fastest-growing sports company in North America, recognized for its leading platform in Daily Fantasy Sports. The Government Affairs Intern will support legislative tracking, advocacy project integration, and lobbying efforts, while gaining hands-on experience in the regulatory processes that shape the fantasy sports industry.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a force multiplier for team members throughout the country, assisting with the real-time tracking of legislation and the development of state-specific advocacy strategies
- Serve as a leading architect helping to build the foundation for the future of PrizePicks advocacy efforts, auditing 2026 legislative sessions nationwide to populate our advocacy engine with updated legislator profiles and voting records
- Gain hands-on exposure to the lobbying process. You will assist in preparing briefing materials for legislative meetings, drafting policy one-pagers, and helping manage our roster of external consultants and firms
- Support the development of a national "Policy Playbook" by analyzing how diverse jurisdictions have updated their regulatory frameworks to accommodate industry innovation. You will help identify best-in-class legislative models and administrative precedents that align with modern fantasy sports formats to support our multi-state advocacy and compliance goals
- Monitor the high-stakes 2026 electoral landscape in key national, state, and local jurisdictions. There will be a focus on gubernatorial and attorney general races

- Strategy-Minded: You have a passion for state and federal policy and an interest in how legislative strategy translates into business growth
- Adaptable & Resilient: You thrive in fast-paced environments where the 'playbook' can change with a single court ruling or a surprise candidate entry
- A Strong Communicator: You can distill complex competitive and policy dynamics into short, high-impact, and politically-attuned messaging
