Job Description
Summary: Pinion is a food and agriculture consulting and accounting firm. The Spring 2027 Tax & Audit Intern will gain hands-on experience preparing tax returns, supporting audits and accounting projects, using technology and data tools, and collaborating with clients and firm professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Assist with financial statement preparation, audits, general accounting, and special projects
- Apply academic knowledge to real client work while managing priorities and deadlines
- Participate in client meetings and collaborate with professionals across multiple levels of the firm
- Utilize technology and data tools to deliver accurate, efficient results
- Build lasting relationships with fellow interns, mentors, and firm leaders
Required Qualifications:
- **Education:** Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree program in Accounting (or related field) or enrolled in an Accounting certificate program
- **GPA:** 3.0 or higher in major and overall
- **Hours:** Available to work 24 hours per week (part-time) or 40 hours per week (full-time)
- **Location:** Fully in the office
- **Employment Eligibility:** This role is not eligible for sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Seeking to meet CPA exam sit-eligibility requirements
