Job Description
Performance Driven Workforce (PDW) is now hiring Full-time Experienced Automotive Body and Paint Technicians for an automotive Tier 1 supplier. Full-time Experienced Automotive Body and Paint Technicians will support automotive prototype and show vehicle programs. This position is based out of Spartanburg, SC. Candidates meeting the requirements for this Full-time Experienced Automotive Body and Paint Technicians position below are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Perform auto body repair, surface preparation, and painting on prototype components and vehicles
- Prepare and finish automotive panels to meet high-quality show car standards
- Perform panel surfacing and gap and margin adjustments
- Operate shop equipment, hand tools, and power tools
- Maintain accurate vehicle service and repair records
- Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized workspace
- Work independently and collaboratively with team members
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years of automotive body repair experience
- Experience with panel surfacing and detailed bodywork
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
- Ability to work overtime, including weekends, as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on auto body repair and automotive paint experience
- Experience with show-quality panel fitment, gap, and margin adjustments
- Show car painting experience
