Cardiac Sonographer at PeaceHealth in Cottage Grove, OR

Position: Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS/RCS)
Location: Cottage Grove Medical Center | Cottage Grove, Oregon
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday-Friday
Pay Range: $46.27 - $69.41/hr
No Call | No Holiday Rotation

Some Echo jobs ask you to sacrifice your evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This isn't one of them.

At PeaceHealth Cottage Grove Medical Center, an experienced Cardiac Sonographer can build a career around something that has become surprisingly hard to find: a predictable Monday-Friday day shift schedule with no call and no holiday rotation.

Imagine starting your morning knowing exactly what the day will look like.

You'll perform approximately 7-8 studies per day in a primarily outpatient setting, with occasional inpatient and emergency department exams. The pace allows you to focus on quality instead of rushing from room to room. You'll have the time to obtain the images you know clinicians need and the autonomy to use the expertise you've spent years developing.

This is not an entry-level opportunity. It's designed for an experienced Cardiac Sonographer who enjoys working independently, managing priorities confidently, and serving as a trusted clinical resource within a close-knit medical center. You'll be the sole Echo Tech in the building, trusted to manage your day, prioritize patient needs, and deliver exceptional cardiac imaging. No waiting for someone else to make every decision. No feeling like just another name on a staffing schedule. Your expertise matters here.

And when the workday ends, it ends.

No pager. No call. No holiday coverage.

Just the opportunity to leave work at work and enjoy everything Oregon living has to offer.

You'll work with a Philips CVx 3D nSIGHT Plus system and perform primarily standard adult echocardiography in a setting where relationships matter. Patients aren't simply appointments on a schedule. They're neighbors, friends, and members of the community.

At PeaceHealth, we're a Person-First, Value-Driven, Highly Trusted organization. We believe caregivers deserve the same compassion, respect, and support that we provide our patients. That philosophy shapes how we care for one another, how we lead, and how we invest in caregiver wellbeing.

Why You'll Love Living Here

Cottage Grove offers something many healthcare professionals spend years searching for: breathing room.

Life moves a little slower here. Commutes are short. Cottage Grove is only about 25 minutes from Eugene, but it feels a world away. Outdoor adventures are close by. You can spend more time hiking, biking, fishing, exploring Oregon wine country, or simply enjoying dinner without rush-hour traffic dictating your evening.

It's the kind of community where patients recognize faces, relationships matter, and work feels connected to the people you serve.

When you've spent years mastering your craft, the right role isn't about doing more. It's about finding a place that trusts your expertise and respects your time outside of work.

Monday-Friday. Days only. No call. No holidays.

If that sounds like the kind of career you've been looking for, let's start a conversation.
