Job Description
Summary: Paycom is a leading S&P 500 software company in the HR industry, seeking an Account Executive to drive sales and build relationships with clients. The role involves selling Paycom's HR software, exceeding sales goals, and maintaining a strong sales pipeline while providing support to new clients until they go live.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on selling new business and exceeding sales goals
- Build relationships with decision-makers and C-level executives
- Prospect companies with 50+ employees in your geographic territory
- Maintain a steady sales pipeline by advancing in-person meetings with prospects
- Close new accounts and collect critical items needed for implementation
- Support new clients up to go-live date
- Maintain expert knowledge of Paycom software through ongoing training
- Travel up to 25% — may include overnight on all avenues of transportation (plane, train and/or automobile)
- Jump in on additional projects as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Experience in selling new business and exceeding sales goals
- Ability to build relationships with decision-makers and C-level executives
- Experience prospecting companies with 50+ employees
- Ability to maintain a steady sales pipeline
- Experience closing new accounts and collecting critical items for implementation
- Ability to support new clients up to go-live date
- Expert knowledge of Paycom software through ongoing training
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Ability to jump in on additional projects as needed
