Summary: Pampas Picnics + Rentals is an event design and decor company serving the New York, New Jersey, D.C. Metropolitan Area, and Delaware. They are seeking Seasonal Special Events Interns to assist with daily niche event operations, including virtual tasks and on-site event assistance. Responsibilities: - Assisting in various tasks associated with the daily niche event operations - Fielding inquiries - Building budget proposals - Answering phone calls - Assisting with the administrative business hygiene during the week - On-site events assistance - Pre-event prep - Post-event wrap-up Required Qualifications: - Proficiency with Google Suite, Canva, and SquareSpace - Customer service and communication skills - Event planning and event management skills - Ability to work in the elements (heat and rain) - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs - Valid Driver's License - Weekend Availability (4-6 events a month) - Weekday Availability for occasional administrative tasks (6-8 hours a week, potentially) - Personable and accommodating attitude - Ability to be on-site 3-4 hours prior to events and/or 45-90 minutes after events - Ability to independently facilitate a setup and/or breakdown - Ability to log inventory for damages, replacements, fixes - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks - Strong attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in event planning or hospitality is a plus - Fine dining experience or knowledge - Open to opportunities to take on larger projects (weddings, baby showers, indoor events, etc.) - Motivation to learn and grow, and to be crafty, creative, and work with your hands Required Skills: Google Suite, Canva, SquareSpace, Event planning, Event management, Inventory logging, Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, Personable attitude, Accommodating attitude Benefits: This role is for school credit
