Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor

THE OPPORTUNITY

OSII is a Colorado-based private investigation and cybersecurity agency offering specialized services to individuals, businesses, and organizations.

OSII operates in naturally high-dollar industries where professional service contracts can reach thousands of dollars, making a 15% commission a substantial earning opportunity.

At the same time, our services are competitively priced, giving Business Development Representatives an advantage when presenting value and negotiating with prospective clients.

Substantial transaction potential. Competitive pricing. And recurring commissions that can continue well beyond the initial sale.

Our unique combination of private investigations, investigative intelligence, digital investigations, fraud research, and cybersecurity provides Business Development Representatives with access to multiple markets and a diverse portfolio of in-demand professional services.

We are open to establishing relationships with qualified Business Development Representatives who can identify opportunities, develop clients, and generate revenue.

We value demonstrated ability over impressive résumés or ambitious claims.

THE COMPENSATION

• 15% on qualifying one-time service sales.
• 15% on initial qualifying subscription payments.
• 5% recurring on subsequent qualifying subscription payments.
• 24 months of residual eligibility for standard representatives.
• Up to five years of residual potential for qualifying high-performing partners, subject to approval and written terms.

There is no stated cap on qualifying sales commissions. Actual earnings depend on performance and qualifying customer payments.

WHO WE CONSIDER

Individuals with strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the initiative to develop business independently.

Experience in B2B sales, prospecting, cold outreach, or professional services is advantageous.

Established relationships within the legal or law enforcement communities are particularly valuable. Candidates with attorneys, law firms, legal professionals, or current or former law enforcement personnel in their personal or professional networks may have a distinct advantage.

These professions regularly intersect with legitimate investigative, intelligence, and digital security needs. Existing relationships can provide a natural foundation for qualified introductions and long-term referral opportunities, subject to applicable professional and ethical requirements.

For individuals with the right connections, much of the groundwork for business development may already be in place.

Business Development Representatives determine their own schedules and prospecting methods. We do not guarantee leads or income.

We have no interest in convincing someone to become a salesperson. We are interested in working with people who already possess the drive to succeed.

APPLICATIONS

OSII evaluates prospective Business Development Representatives based on professionalism, initiative, and demonstrated potential.

Applicants should briefly explain their relevant experience, professional networks, and how they would approach acquiring their first three customers.

We are not expanding for the sake of expansion. The right representative adds value. That is what we look for.
