Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer – Pumps to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in pump sales, industrial equipment, or mechanical engineering, with a strong ability to develop customer relationships, understand technical requirements, and provide suitable pump solutions.

The candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing existing customers, preparing quotations, following up on enquiries, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop new customers and business opportunities for pumps and related equipment.

* Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing customers.

* Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable pump solutions.

* Handle technical and commercial enquiries from customers.

* Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical submittals.

* Follow up on quotations and convert enquiries into orders.

* Visit customers, contractors, consultants, and project sites as required.

* Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams regarding pump selection, pricing, delivery, and technical requirements.

* Identify upcoming projects and develop sales opportunities.

* Negotiate prices and commercial terms with customers.

* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.

* Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets.

* Maintain accurate records of customer enquiries, quotations, opportunities, and sales activities.

* Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

* 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably in pumps, rotating equipment, industrial equipment, HVAC, water & wastewater, or related engineering products.

* Good technical understanding of different types of pumps and their applications.

* Experience in pump selection and sizing will be an advantage.

* Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.

* Ability to read and understand technical specifications and drawings.

* UAE market experience and an existing customer network will be an advantage.

* UAE driving license is preferred.

* Strong sales-oriented and target-driven approach.

* Good knowledge of MS Office and preparation of quotations/proposals.

Preferred Technical Knowledge

Experience with some of the following will be an advantage:

* Centrifugal pumps

* End-suction pumps

* Split-case pumps

* Vertical pumps

* Multistage pumps

* Booster pump systems

* Sewage/drainage pumps

* Water supply and wastewater applications

* Fire-fighting pump systems

* Pump selection and technical submittals
