Job Description
Summary: ORC is a respected right-of-way acquisition firm that shapes infrastructure for the future. They are seeking an Information Technology Help Desk Technician to provide first-line IT support, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality IT services.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first line of IT support for all employees, providing timely and effective end-user and office support
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues to ensure minimal disruption to daily operations
- Support and reinforce IT best practices while assisting with compliance monitoring and data integrity efforts
- Collaborate with a team of tech-savvy professionals to deliver high-quality IT services
- Play an integral role in supporting and advancing the goals and initiatives of the IT Department
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months relevant experience in a professional IT environment
- Must have basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi troubleshooting)
- Advanced understanding of Windows operating systems
- Must be familiar with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Must have experience with setting up and troubleshooting printers, scanners, and peripherals
- Must have an understanding of Azure and Intune (password resets, account unlocks, group policy basics)
- Must have experience with desktop tools (Screen Connect, zScaler, Remote Desktop Protocol)
- Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systems
- Valid Driver's License
