Summary: The Oklahoma City Thunder is an elite performance organization and leading NBA franchise. The Analyst Intern in Basketball Operations will uncover insights through data pipeline development, research, analysis, and presentation to inform strategy, decision-making, and organizational performance.

Responsibilities:
- Work with diverse, large, and sophisticated datasets to solve dynamic problems
- Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling, collaborating with stakeholders in various functions
- Communicate and present findings through impactful reports and presentations

Required Qualifications:
- Some experience with technical tools for analysis such as R (Tidyverse, etc.), Python, SQL, etc
- Some experience in areas such as database systems, data wrangling, and data visualization
- Experience working with and protecting confidential information
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver clear and effective messages to a variety of stakeholders
- Passion for basketball and sports are key
- Work schedule may include working on short notice as well as work on evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferably enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics or economics
- Knowledge of Shiny, Markdown, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS a plus
