Job Description
The Project Engineer – Electrical is responsible for planning, execution, coordination, and supervision of electrical works at the project site in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. The role includes coordination with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other disciplines to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities Project Execution & Coordination
- Assist the Project Manager in planning and execution of electrical works.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Prepare method statements, work schedules, and material submittals for electrical systems.
- Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out as per approved drawings and schedules.
Technical Responsibilities
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems including LV/HV systems, power distribution, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, fire alarm, and ELV interfaces.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, IEC standards, local authority regulations, and safety requirements.
- Resolve technical issues at site and provide effective engineering solutions.
- Conduct inspections and ensure quality control of electrical works.
Planning & Cost Control
- Assist in manpower planning and preparation of work programs.
- Coordinate procurement of electrical materials and ensure timely delivery to site.
- Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
- Support variation orders, technical clarifications, and site instructions.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
- Maintain inspection requests (IRs), test reports, and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspections and approvals.
- Assist in preparation of handover documents, O&M manuals, and final submissions.
