We're looking for someone who's creative, organised and excited about working across radio, podcasts, digital and social platforms to bring the Matty and PJ show to our audiences. You will be helping shape the content for the show that connects on-air, online and on demand.

THE GIG:

Are you passionate about creating content that entertains, connects and gets people talking? We're looking for a Digital & Audio Producer to lead Matty and PJ's show digital, audio and on-demand content production as well as provide support for station and marketing tactics. This includes ownership of podcast output, social content execution, content distribution, and the creation of promotional content that captivates audiences, delivers results and keeps listeners coming back every day.

If you're passionate about radio, thrive in a fast-moving live environment and know how to turn on-air content into outstanding digital content, we'd love to hear from you.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM:

• You'll be an experienced digital and/or radio professional who knows what it takes to build an audience using exceptional content that keeps audiences coming back for more.

• You'll hold a relevant qualification, 2+ years' experience in radio, social media or a similar media environment and have a good understanding of broadcasting standards.

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

• A proactive mindset and the ability to stay one step ahead in a fast-paced live environment.

• Confidence working across multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

• Strong technical skills across digital, broadcast and audio editing platforms. You'll be familiar with ProTools, Adobe Creative Suite and relevant content publishing platforms.

• A collaborative approach and a genuine passion for creating great audience experiences.

• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

• You'll be able to identify, edit and package strong promotable moments from each show into video, on-demand and show podcast promotion. You will ensure we are creating content to support our eyes-to-ears digital strategy, working alongside the Executive Producer, General Manager and Content Director.

• You will have a strong understanding of monitoring content performance and audience engagement across digital, social and podcast platforms, providing recommendations to improve reach, consumption and growth.

• Every day brings something different, and you'll love the variety and energy that comes with creating great radio.

Most importantly, you'll bring creativity, positive energy and a drive to help The Hits deliver the best possible content every day.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

In return, we’ll offer you the opportunity to work on one of New Zealand's most iconic radio brands. You'll join a business that values its people and supports growth through development opportunities, recognition programmes and career progression.

We're a culture that lives and breathes our values of being Curious, Confident and Connected; meaning we tell it like it is, challenge the status quo and have fun along the way.
