Fittings Operator at NOV in San Antonio, TX

The NOV Fiber Glass Systems facility in San Antonio, TX is seeking to hire a motivated and dependable Fittings Operator. This position will contribute to manufacturing high quality fittings according to manufacturing specification sheets in an efficient manner while maintaining all NOV Quality and Safety measures before shipment to our customers. This is a day shift position that is routinely scheduled to work Monday through Friday, 6am - 6:30pm

• Operates any equipment needed to perform job
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
• Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
• Utilize safe work habits
• Wear appropriate PPE
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Factory environment with a large range in temperature changes
• Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
• Standing up to 12 hours daily
• Walking up to 12 hours daily
• Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
• Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
• Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
• Travel less than 10%

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Three years of verifiable work history preferred
