Summary: NorthRock Partners is a firm that helps people reach their potential through impactful advice. They are seeking a motivated Operations Intern to support day-to-day operations and gain exposure to the financial services industry while working collaboratively with the team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Operations Associates to support and improve internal processes and workflows
- Assist with client meeting preparation and related documentation
- Submit and track client paperwork through custodial systems
- Scan, organize, and maintain accurate client records
- Participate in a structured rotational study program covering NorthRock’s core business disciplines
- Complete a capstone project by developing a financial plan for a fictitious client
- Build relationships with professionals across departments to gain business insight
- Support administrative and operational projects as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- Demonstrated interest in financial management, financial planning, or investment services
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment
- Professional demeanor, strong interpersonal skills, and a desire to learn
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a credit and criminal background check is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Junior or Senior standing preferred
