North Ocean Medical Group (NOMG) is expanding its physician network across Suffolk County and is seeking a motivated Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician for flexible part-time/per diem opportunities in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, assisted living, and outpatient settings.

This opportunity is particularly well suited for a hospitalist looking to add flexible work outside of the hospital while becoming part of a growing community-based medical group.

What We’re Looking For

• Board-certified/board-eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician Current hospitalists are strongly encouraged to apply Physicians affiliated with Stony Brook University Hospital, Mather Hospital, NYU Langone Hospital—Suffolk, Peconic Bay Medical Center, South Shore University Hospital, or other Suffolk County hospitals are especially encouraged to apply Interest in skilled nursing/post-acute medicine and continuity of care Reliable, collaborative, and interested in developing long-term relationships with facilities and the NOMG physician team

The Opportunity

• Flexible part-time/per diem schedule Nursing home and rehabilitation facility rounding Assisted living and outpatient opportunities may also be available Ability to work around an existing hospitalist schedule Opportunity to expand hours as NOMG’s post-acute network grows Collaborative relationship with NOMG’s physicians, APPs, and administrative team Potential for a larger leadership role for the right physician

About North Ocean Medical Group

North Ocean Medical Group is a physician-led medical practice based in Patchogue, New York, providing primary care and facility-based medical services throughout Suffolk County. We are developing a regional model designed to improve continuity between hospital, post-acute, and community-based care.

We are looking for physicians who want more than an occasional shift — we want to develop long-term relationships with physicians interested in growing alongside the organization.

Compensation: Competitive hourly/per-diem compensation based on experience and responsibilities.

Schedule: Flexible; designed to complement existing hospital schedules.
