Swedish-speaking Customer Expert for… at Next Job Abroad · Umeå

What if your next job came with sunshine, a new country and a completely new social circle?

If you've been thinking about taking a gap year abroad, moving somewhere warmer or simply doing something different for a while – this could be your sign.

We're looking for Swedish speakers who want to relocate to Athens and join an international customer service team working within insurance and device protection.

You'll work on-site in Athens, surrounded by colleagues from Sweden and across Europe. So yes, you're moving abroad – but you're definitely not doing it alone.

Work in Athens. Live in Greece.

Your weekdays come with an international workplace, new colleagues and experience for your CV.

Your time off?

Athens cafés, rooftop bars, beaches, souvlaki at unreasonable hours, weekend trips to Greek islands and approximately 300 days per year where you wonder why you ever thought grey weather was normal.

For many people, a job abroad isn't necessarily about finding the job they'll do forever. It's about giving yourself a year to try something completely different.

And if that year turns into two? We won't judge.

What will you actually do?

You'll support customers who have insurance and protection plans for products such as electronics and household devices.

You'll help customers with things like:

• Registering and managing insurance claims
• Checking claim status and explaining next steps
• Answering questions about coverage and eligibility
• Helping coordinate repairs and replacements
• Handling customer questions and complaints
• Updating customer cases and documentation
• Finding solutions when something hasn't gone quite according to plan

Customer contact takes place across channels including phone, chat and digital support channels.

Don't know anything about insurance yet? That's okay.

You'll receive structured training before starting the role, followed by supported on-the-job training.

You're a good match if you:

• Speak Swedish fluently
• Have good English skills
• Enjoy talking to and helping people
• Can stay calm when customers are frustrated
• Are comfortable using computers and learning new systems
• Like solving problems rather than simply passing them along
• Have completed high school or equivalent
• Are ready to live and work in Athens

Moving abroad is exciting. Organising an international move? Slightly less exciting.

Luckily, you'll have support.

You can expect:

• Relocation support to Greece, including flight expenses
• Hotel accommodation upon arrival
• Support finding permanent accommodation
• Competitive salary + 2 extra salaries per year
• Performance-based bonuses
• Full paid training
• Healthcare benefits
• Career development opportunities
• Free online Greek language courses
• International and multicultural working environment
• Community events and social activities

So… Why Not Athens?

A gap year doesn't have to mean travelling until the money runs out.

You can move abroad, earn a salary, meet people from around the world and gain experience for your CV at the same time.

Maybe you stay for a year.

Maybe Greece becomes home for longer.

There's really only one way to find out.

Pack the suitcase. Athens is waiting.
