Job Description
Summary: Newmark is a company in the commercial real estate industry, seeking a motivated Escrow Assistant to support their Title Sales Executive. The role involves providing support in escrow operations, client management, and real estate transactions, while gaining hands-on experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support to the escrow officer and sales executive in managing title and escrow files
- Assist in opening and processing new escrow orders with accuracy and efficiency
- Communicate with real estate agents, lenders, buyers, and sellers to gather required information and documentation
- Help coordinate closings, ensuring that all documents and funds are prepared and delivered on time
- Maintain organized files, perform data entry, and prepare correspondence as needed
- Proactively update clients and team members on the status of escrow files
- Learn title/escrow procedures, compliance requirements, and company systems with the goal of advancing within the organization
Required Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn escrow software
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow into expanded responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous administrative, real estate, or customer service experience preferred, but not required
