NEURA Robotics→
Data Operator Coordinator (human) -… at NEURA Robotics · Aachen
Job Description
Give Our Robots Consciousness
Physical AI can't be trained on internet data alone. Robots need to learn skills in the real world — by observing, interacting with, and operating in real environments. That's the idea behind NEURA Gym: a global network of physical training centers where robots learn industrial tasks/skills directly from experienced human operators/ the people who know these processes inside out.
As a Data Operator Coordinator, you work as a Data Operator with our robots, including the humanoid 4NE1, collecting real-world data for our AI. In addition, as a foreman/team lead, you coordinate a group of up to 8 Data Operators and act as the interface to the Data Operations Group Lead.
What you’ll do as a Data Operator
You control the robots via teleoperation and carry out real tasks.
You wear motion-capture equipment and perform predefined movements according to project specifications.
You carry out structured data collection to produce high-quality training data.
You set up and calibrate robots and prepare them for tests and demos.
You work closely with service technicians, AI trainers and engineers, and document your observations.
What you’ll do as a coordinator
You coordinate your group in day-to-day operations and make sure everyone knows what to do.
You make sure no robot sits idle and that daily targets are met.
You are the point of contact for your group and help new colleagues get started.
You are the interface to the Data Operations Group Lead and pass information on in both directions.
Share hands-on feedback with our development team and help continuously improve our data collection processes
