National Granite Luxuries / National Design Mart is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our stone fabrication team. This position is responsible for programming CNC equipment. The ideal candidate has previous experience in the granite, countertop, or stone fabrication industry, strong problem-solving skills, and knowledge of CNC programming and stone materials.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC equipment for granite and stone fabrication.
• Review work orders, measurements, layouts, and job specifications to ensure accuracy.
• Work closely with the the fabrication team members to coordinate scheduled jobs.
• Preview job layouts before production to identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot programming and fabrication issues as needed.
• Work toward daily production and department goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Maintain accurate production documentation and complete required paperwork.
• Develop knowledge of CNC machinery, operating procedures, stone fabrication techniques, and installation considerations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and assist in sharing knowledge and best practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the granite, quartz, countertop, or stone fabrication industry preferred.
• CNC programming experience preferred.
• Experience with Alphacam or similar CNC programming software preferred.
• Knowledge of granite, quartz, and other stone materials.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, layouts, measurements, and production specifications.
• Basic computer and numerical calculation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment.
• Willingness to learn and cross-train in other areas of the department.

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to work in a retail/production and stone fabrication environment.
• Ability to use computers and CNC programming software throughout the workday.
