Verafin - Product Manager (Fraud)
Location: Canada - St. John's - Newfoundland & Labrador
We'reseeking a talented Product Manager to join ouraccount fraudteam. In this role,you'llbeour subject matter expertresponsible forbuilding andmaintainingaproduct roadmap,holdingdiscovery callsto understand theneedof the market and customers.On these calls, you willdig in, peel the onion, and gain a true understandingof the underlying problems they experience so that we can improve the product with effective solutions.Then, you will bring you knowledge to life, building out ourfraud prevention products.
You will act as the liaison betweenourcustomersandourdevelopment teams, consistently bringing valuable problems into development daysto push our product forward. You will become theexpertin the part of the product youare responsible forand will coordinate with other teams likeValue Delivery, Sales, CSM, and P-Writersto bring our products to market.

What You'll Do:
Own and manage theFraud Detection product backlogthrough ongoing discovery with customers and prospects
Guideproduct development teamsin executing backlogs and roadmaps
Supportsales and customer engagementthrough demos and prospect meetings
Coordinate withValue Delivery and Documentation teamsto enable smooth feature releases and clear customer-facing materials
Monitorregulatory changesand prioritise required updates within the backlog
Represent the product externally throughonsite meetings, webinars, panels, and executive engagements
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of experiencein Development, Data Science
Strongdata analysis skillswith working knowledge ofSQL
Curious, empathetic problem‑solver with a passion for tackling complex challenges
Proven experienceworking cross‑functionallyand owning initiatives end‑to‑end
Knowledge ofpayment systems, fraud prevention, banking compliance, and financial transactions(including vendor integrations and data availability) is an asset
Ability tocommunicate effectively across all levelsof customer organisations, including end users, decision‑makers, and the C‑suite
This position willbe located inSt. John's or Toronto and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
