They are seeking a Land Survey Technician to support various engineering and boundary survey projects under the guidance of a Professional Land Surveyor. Responsibilities: - Perform fieldwork survey to collect data for engineering design surveys, accurately mapping the contours and features of the land - Perform construction boundary staking for development and infrastructure improvement projects - Assist in conducting boundary surveys to determine property and right-of-way boundaries - Process and analyze survey data using Trimble Business Center software to create maps and reports - Remote Sensing: Assist remoting sensing tools such as small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) and terrestrial 3D laser scanning operations to capture high-resolution spatial data - Maintain, calibrate, and utilize survey equipment such as, Trimble GNSS, robotic total station, and digital leveling equipment Required Qualifications: - Associate or bachelor's degree in land surveying or geomatics or current enrollment in an accredited program in these fields - Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering that includes a survey certificate or equivalent, meeting the requirements to take the NCEES Fundamentals of Surveying exam - 0-3+ years experience with land survey projects - Land Surveyor Intern (LSI) licensure or willing to obtain soon after hire - Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D - Experience with Trimble survey systems, data processing software, drone mapping, and 3D laser scanning - Working knowledge of Practical Drafting or GIS - Strong written and verbal communication skills - A valid driver's license and an insurable driving record is required for periodic travel - Ability to work outdoors in various and changing weather conditions - Ability to lift and carry survey equipment and materials up to 50 pounds - Occasional travel required to remote locations Required Skills: Land surveying, Geomatics, NCEES Fundamentals of Surveying, Land Surveyor Intern (LSI) licensure, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble survey systems, Trimble Business Center software, Drone mapping, 3D laser scanning, Practical Drafting, GIS, Survey equipment calibration, Trimble GNSS, Robotic total station, Digital leveling equipment Benefits: $55,000-$90,000 base pay (DOE) with generous wage growth, Annual bonuses because your contributions matter, Ownership through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP); 100% company-paid ownership contributions, 90% company paid shared health plan premiums, Paid time off for the things you love to do, Paid parental leave and volunteer time off, Six paid company holidays, Two floating personal holidays for events that are important in your life, 401(k) matching program, AD&D Insurance, Short/Long Term Disability, and Life Insurance paid by the company, Flexible work schedule arrangements, Relocation assistance may be provided
