Job Description
Summary: Mitchell and Company LLC is a Colorado-based IT consulting firm seeking a highly organized Office Assistant to join their Carbondale office. This role is central to client communication, service coordination, and day-to-day office operations, requiring excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through clear, courteous, and professional communication
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist clients with service requests
- Provide customer service to walk-in and depot clients
- Communicate appointment details, updates, and schedule changes to clients and internal staff
- Create, update, and manage service tickets
- Schedule and dispatch technicians based on priority, availability, and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Coordinate deliveries between clients and consultants
- Prepare hardware and service quotes
- Track and manage inventory levels
- Order equipment and office supplies
- Handle shipping and receiving of products
- Support general office management and administrative functions
Required Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Comfortable answering phones and interacting with clients throughout the day
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with computers, email, and standard office software
- Basic understanding of IT services or a willingness to learn
- Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in dispatching, scheduling, or service coordination
- Experience working in an IT services company or managed service provider (MSP) environment
- Customer service or call-handling experience
- Prior Office Assistant or Office Manager experience
- Strong computer and typing skills
