The summer internship offers students hands-on experience in business operations, focusing on accounting, finance, or management information systems, while contributing to meaningful projects that support the company's initiatives. Responsibilities: - Assist with monthly financial close activities, account reconciliations, and variance analysis - Support budgeting and forecasting efforts through data collection and modeling - Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership review - Help evaluate financial controls and participate in process-improvement initiatives - Conduct research on industry benchmarks, cost drivers, or internal performance metrics - Support system enhancements, data integrity reviews, and reporting improvements - Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), documentation, and workflow updates - Analyze datasets to identify trends, inconsistencies, or improvement opportunities - Build or optimize dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel - Participate in cross-functional meetings on technology or process-transformation initiatives Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, MIS, Business Analytics, or a related field - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas) - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) - Familiarity with financial statements or data visualization concepts - Attention to detail and strong desire to learn Required Skills: Microsoft Excel, Analytical skills Important Skills: Power BI, Tableau, SQL, ERP systems
