Occupational Therapist - Paediatric (Community Role)

Occupational Therapist – Paediatric (Community Role)
Moreton Bay Region, QLD

If you enjoy working with children in their own environment, not just within four clinic walls, this role offers exactly that.

We're partnering with a well-established allied health provider delivering community-based paediatric services across the Moreton Bay Region, just north of Brisbane. The focus here is simple: meaningful therapy, realistic expectations, and giving clinicians the flexibility to do their best work.

The Role
A fully community-based paediatric position supporting children and families across home, school, and early learning environments. You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own schedule, with the support of a collaborative team behind you.

What your day could look like:

• Visiting families in their homes or schools
• Delivering play-based and functional therapy sessions
• Supporting children with developmental delays, ASD, and sensory needs
• Working closely with parents, carers, and educators
• Completing assessments and reports without unrealistic time pressure

Why this role stands out:

• Genuine flexibility in how you structure your day
• Travel is well-supported and planned efficiently
• Strong team culture—regular check-ins without micromanagement
• Resources and admin support provided so you can focus on clients
• Competitive salary + travel allowance + incentives

Who this would suit:

• AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist
• Experience in paediatrics or strong interest in community-based work
• Confident working independently while staying connected to a team
• Warm, engaging, and family-focused approach

Why Moreton Bay?

The region offers a relaxed, family-friendly lifestyle with easy access to parks, schools, and coastal spots. You'll spend less time in traffic and more time doing meaningful work, with a strong sense of community across the area.

If you're looking for a paediatric role that gives you flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact in children's everyday environments, we would be happy to share more details. Feel free to reach out to Camille at camille@mediix.com.au
