Part-Time Contract Mohs Surgeon at McLean &… · Potomac

Surgical Precision. A Cosmetic Eye. An Entrepreneurial Opportunity.

Build a surgical practice—and a cosmetic following—with a physician-owned team invested in your success.

Potomac Dermatology & Skincare Center is seeking an exceptional, fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon with an entrepreneurial spirit, an eye for aesthetics, and the desire to grow a reputation in both skin cancer surgery and cosmetic dermatology.

We're looking for someone who brings energy, initiative, and warmth to patient care. A surgeon who values meticulous reconstruction, understands the importance of beautiful outcomes, and is excited to become the physician patients trust for both surgical expertise and cosmetic care.

Founded by Dr. Lily Talakoub, our practice is part of McLean Dermatology & Skincare Center, a physician-owned group serving the Washington, DC area for more than 15 years. Our expertise spans adult and pediatric dermatology, skin cancer surgery, and cosmetic dermatology, with a shared belief that exceptional care combines science, artistry, and personal connection.

Help shape our next chapter.

As we launch our in-house Mohs service, you'll have a meaningful role in developing the surgical experience from clinical workflow and reconstruction to the way patients feel throughout their care.

You'll have an on-site Mohs lab, a dedicated surgical team, and a referral network across our locations to support the service's growth. We welcome your ideas and initiative, with the clinical autonomy and established infrastructure to help you put them into practice.

Bring your cosmetic eye. Build your following.

We're especially interested in a Mohs surgeon who is enthusiastic about cosmetic dermatology and motivated to develop a loyal cosmetic patient base.

Your aesthetic judgment will be valued in both reconstruction and elective treatments. Alongside your surgical practice, you'll have the opportunity to develop your cosmetic interests, build lasting patient relationships, and establish a following that reflects your expertise and aesthetic approach.

With advanced devices, a beautifully designed office, and opportunities to collaborate directly with Dr. Lily, you'll have support to grow a practice known for thoughtful treatment planning and natural results.

Be independent and part of something.

You'll join a collaborative group of experienced providers and support staff who enjoy working together and take pride in each other's success. Dr. Lily and the broader team are accessible for complex cases, treatment discussions, and fresh ideas.

As a physician-owned practice, we respect your clinical judgment and welcome your perspective. We want a surgeon who takes initiative, contributes to the team, and shares our ambition to create an exceptional patient experience.

Who will thrive here?

A skilled, personable Mohs surgeon who pairs surgical excellence with aesthetic sensibility. Someone who earns patients' confidence, enjoys building relationships with referring providers, and sees the opportunity to grow both a respected Mohs service and a sought-after cosmetic practice.

If you're excited to bring your talent and vision to an established, ambitious team, we'd love to meet you.
