Veterinary Recruiter at Mass-RI Veterinary ER in Remote

Summary: COVE Animal Health is a doctor-led network of veterinary hospitals seeking a Veterinary Recruiter to enhance their recruitment efforts. The role involves managing full-cycle recruitment for veterinarians, building relationships with candidates, and collaborating with hospital leadership to fulfill hiring needs.

Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for veterinarian positions across multiple hospitals and specialties
- Build and maintain active and passive candidate pipelines through networking, referrals, conferences, veterinary schools, residency programs, and professional organizations
- Partner with hospital and regional leadership to understand hiring priorities and develop recruiting strategies
- Source, screen, interview, and coordinate candidates through the hiring process
- Represent COVE Animal Health at veterinary conferences, career fairs, and university recruiting events
- Manage job postings and maintain accurate candidate data within our applicant tracking system
- Prepare offer letters and coordinate pre-employment and onboarding activities
- Deliver a thoughtful, responsive, and high-touch candidate experience throughout the recruiting process
- Track recruiting metrics and provide regular hiring updates to leadership
- Help strengthen COVE's employer brand through recruiting initiatives and social media engagement

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for conferences, recruiting events, and hospital visits

Preferred Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience preferred
- Healthcare or veterinary recruiting experience is a plus, but not required
