The Associate Attorney will represent criminal defense clients in court, draft motions, conduct legal research, develop defense strategies, negotiate with prosecutors, and maintain client-focused communication.

Responsibilities:
- Represent clients at arraignments, motions, contested hearings, and trials
- Draft persuasive motions and constitutional arguments
- Conduct legal research and develop defense strategies
- Negotiate with prosecutors for dismissals and favorable resolutions
- Maintain strong, client-first communication during high-stress situations

Required Qualifications:
- • J.D. and an active Minnesota law license in good standing
- • 0–3 years of criminal law experience (internships, clerkships, or public defender experience welcomed)
- • Strong courtroom presence and litigation mindset
- • Excellent writing and negotiation skills
- • High emotional intelligence and client advocacy focus
- • Strong, highly proficient technical skills
