Recent Learning Team Coordinator Testimonial

“Having completed a placement year with Sea Cadets, I can say that it has been an incredible experience, filled with personal growth, and impactful work. Working at MSSC has allowed me to help make a difference in the Sea Cadet experiences of both volunteers and cadets. The year has offered me personal development opportunities, like a ‘secondary placement’ for two weeks with the operations team, completing my Level 2 award in skills for further learning and employment, and working towards my Day Skipper Theory. The team around me have been supportive, friendly and easy going, making it a pleasure to come to work every day, and make them approachable with any questions that I had.”- Isobel Yeung, Placement Year Learning Coordinator
