BRIEF AGENCY DESCRIPTION:
The Department of Administrative and Financial Services (DAFS) Corrections Service Center is responsible for program accounting, cash management, resident accounts, and revenue/expenditure control for the Maine Department of Corrections (MDOC) that support six adult facilities and one youth facility. These facilities keep our communities safer by reducing harm through supportive intervention, empowering change, and restoring lives.
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:
As an Accounting Assistant Technician at the DAFS Corrections Service Center (CSC) located in Warren doing work for Maine State Prison (MSP) and Bolduc Correctional Facility (BCF), you will work closely with agency personnel and the CSC Accounting Analyst for MSP/BCF. This position is open to all applicants.
