Position Summary The Spa Attendant helps create a clean, serene, and welcoming spa environment while delivering exceptional guest service. This role supports daily spa operations by maintaining cleanliness, stocking supplies, assisting guests, and ensuring all spa areas meet MacArthur Place's high standards of hospitality and service. Essential Responsibilities Guest Service Welcome guests and assist with any questions, requests, amenities, and needs. Distribute robes, towels, and slippers, and respond promptly to guest inquiries, elevate as needed. Maintain a calm, professional environment that prioritizes guest comfort and privacy. Spa Operations Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout treatment rooms, locker rooms, lounges, fitness areas, pool facilities, saunas, and steam rooms. Sanitize equipment and high-touch surfaces in accordance with health and safety standards. Restock linens, towels, toiletries, beverages, and other spa amenities. Assist with laundry operations, room turnover, opening and closing duties, and special events. Report maintenance, safety, and operational concerns promptly. Safety, Compliance, & Teamwork Follow all company policies, procedures, and service standards, including meal & rest breaks, uniform & grooming standards, time & attendance, and professional code conduct. Promote a safe environment for guests and team members. Collaborate with spa staff and other departments to ensure seamless daily operations. Uphold MacArthur Place's commitment to luxury hospitality and service excellence. Qualifications Previous hospitality, spa, housekeeping, or related experience preferred. Strong guest service, communication, and organizational skills. Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude. Knowledge of spa or wellness environments is a plus. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Hourly, non-exempt position. Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to transport linens, supplies, and equipment as needed. Comfortable working in spa, pool, sauna, steam room, and laundry environments. Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Additional Duties Perform other duties and special projects as assigned to support hotel operations. Flexibility, teamwork, excellent guest service, and a willingness to assist wherever needed are key to success in this role.
