Head of Growth, Brand & Product Marketing… at M365Connect · Islamabad

About Us

We are an early-stage startup preparing to launch a mobile dating app competing in the same market as Tinder, Bumble and Hinge.

Our working culture is fast-moving, hands-on and shaped by short decision cycles, evolving priorities and limited resources. We need someone who enjoys this environment, takes initiative and remains composed and effective when deadlines are tight or plans change.

You will help shape the product, build the brand and bring the app to market. Initially, you will personally deliver much of the work across marketing, content, partnerships and automation. As the business develops, the role may expand to include building and leading a team.

Job Description

You will play a central role in deciding how the app is positioned, how the brand looks and communicates, which audiences we serve and how the product develops to meet their needs.

Working closely with the founding and development teams, you will turn market research, user insights and performance data into recommendations for product priorities, features, onboarding and the overall user experience. Your involvement starts before launch and continues through ongoing product development and growth.

You will also own the marketing strategy and its practical execution. This includes creating the content and systems needed across websites, social media, YouTube long-form videos, Shorts, advertising, influencer campaigns and partnerships.

Exceptional practical expertise in AI is essential. You must be able to use AI to produce high-quality work independently and build reliable content pipelines and automations. n8n and similar tools should be part of your everyday workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape the product: Research user needs, competitors and market opportunities. Help define the product's value proposition, contribute to roadmap priorities and turn insights into clear feature proposals and briefs.
• Improve the user experience: Work with the product and development teams on onboarding, activation, engagement, retention and monetization. Help define experiments and assess whether changes improve the experience.
• Build the brand: Develop brand positioning, messaging, tone of voice, visual direction and storytelling. Translate these into a consistent identity across the app and all marketing channels.
• Own go-to-market: Develop and execute the pre-launch, launch and growth strategy, including target audiences, market selection, channel priorities and campaign planning.
• Create marketing content: Personally plan, produce, edit and publish the content the business needs, including websites, landing pages, social posts, advertising assets, graphics, email campaigns, YouTube long-form videos, Shorts and other short-form video.
• Build content pipelines: Use AI and automation to support research, scripting, visual production, video editing, repurposing, publishing and performance analysis while maintaining creative quality.
• Develop influencer marketing: Identify suitable creators, establish relationships, negotiate collaborations, develop campaign briefs and measure results.
• Establish partnerships: Find and develop relevant brand, community, event and distribution partnerships that support awareness, trust and user acquisition.
• Drive measurable growth: Run acquisition and lifecycle experiments across paid, organic, referral and community channels. Connect marketing activity to activation, retention and commercial outcomes.
• Automate operations: Build and maintain n8n workflows and integrations that reduce repetitive work across marketing, content production, partnerships and reporting.
• Support future team growth: As needs and resources develop, help identify hiring priorities, document effective workflows and onboard colleagues or external specialists.

Required Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on experience launching and growing consumer mobile apps, with a demonstrable personal contribution to apps reaching six-, seven- or eight-figure download totals.
• Evidence of your own impact: the decisions you owned, the work you delivered and the measurable results achieved.
• Experience contributing directly to product development through user research, feature definition, prioritization, experimentation and collaboration with designers and developers.
• Strong brand-building ability, including positioning, messaging, visual judgment and consistent execution across product and marketing.
• Exceptional practical AI skills across research, writing, design, image generation, video production, editing and content workflows.
• The ability to independently produce marketing content across multiple formats, including social media, YouTube long-form videos, Shorts, websites and advertising creatives.
• Hands-on experience with influencer marketing, creator collaborations and partnership development.
• Strong practical knowledge of n8n or comparable automation platforms, including APIs, webhooks, integrations and reliable workflow operation.
• A solid understanding of mobile acquisition, attribution, activation, retention, customer acquisition cost and lifetime value.
• The judgment to prioritize the channels and activities that matter most, balancing quality, speed and limited startup resources.
• A willingness to take ownership across disciplines and personally execute the work required at an early-stage business.
• Resilience under pressure, strong prioritization skills and the ability to maintain quality and sound judgment during demanding launch phases.
• Comfort working with uncertainty, changing priorities and limited startup resources, with the confidence to communicate trade-offs, flag constraints early and propose practical solutions.

Especially Valuable Experience

• Experience with dating apps, social discovery products or consumer platforms that depend on network effects.
• Growing mobile apps to millions or tens of millions of downloads.
• Taking a product from pre-launch through launch and subsequent growth.
• Building local user density, communities and market-by-market launch strategies.
• Developing a brand from the beginning and carrying it consistently into the product experience.
• Building a YouTube presence, repeatable video formats or creator-led acquisition channels.
• Establishing partnerships that delivered measurable distribution, engagement or revenue.
• Growing from an individual contributor into a team leadership role within a startup.

What We Offer

• A central role in shaping the product, brand and market launch of a new mobile dating app.
• Broad responsibility across creative work, product decisions, marketing and growth.
