Job Summary

Chef Tim Love is looking for friendly, dependable Baristas who enjoy creating welcoming café experiences. You’ll prepare coffee and other non-alcoholic beverages, serve food, and help customers with orders and retail purchases. Food service, café, or barista experience is helpful, but a strong customer-service mindset and willingness to learn are also valued.

Duties

• Prepare coffee, other beverages, and food items while following recipes, food handling practices, and food safety standards.
• Welcome customers, take orders, provide drink and food service, and support sales through helpful product recommendations.
• Use a point-of-sale (POS) system to process retail sales transactions, cash payments, and other orders; Toast POS experience is a plus.
• Keep counters, equipment, and service areas clean, organized, and ready for customers.
• Your impact: Accurate, welcoming service helps customers enjoy a smooth café visit and supports a positive experience for the team.

Requirements

• Customer service, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to stay organized during busy periods.
• Basic math skills for order accuracy, cashiering, and cash handling.
• Food service, serving, beverage service, drink service, or food preparation experience is useful; barista, coffee, café, or broader food industry experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems and processing cash transactions is helpful; experience with Toast POS or is preferred, not required.
• Ability to follow food safety and food handling practices and maintain a clean work area.

Pay: $5.15 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
